I am a licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon, license number C2129, and a licensed Marriage, Family Therapist in California, license number MFT38836. I earned my first Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University in California and a second Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialty in Art Therapy from the College of Notre Dame, Belmont, California. My Bachelor’s degree in English and Foreign Languages is from Monash University, Victoria, Australia. I also have a graduate teaching credential from the University of Melbourne in Australia and the CBEST teaching credential from California. I have been a secondary education teacher and tutor for over 25 years and have been a licensed therapist in private practice since 1999.

I gained my experience as a therapist and counselor in agency settings by working with families and children who were dealing with issues such cultural acclimatization, financial problems, alcohol and drug abuse and behavioral disturbances.  I have also worked for many years with several middle schools, junior high, alternative schools and high schools as a teacher, counselor and an art therapist. In addition, I teach study skills and tutor students who have different learning styles.
